Wedding Photography

Wedding photography is often called the same old thing — but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. Quite the opposite! I shoot weddings like documentaries with a portrait session hidden inside: the nerves, the ugly laughter, the dance floor, plus twenty quiet minutes alone together at golden hour.

What a wedding day with me looks like

I arrive before the dress goes on and leave after the dance floor fills. Two photographers for parties over eighty guests, a timeline built around your light — not the other way round — and family formals run like clockwork so you can get back to the champagne. Galleries land in three weeks, with fifty preview frames in forty-eight hours.

Every couple gets the same promise: no stiff line-ups that eat your cocktail hour, no disappearing act during speeches, and no gallery of three thousand near-identical frames. Around six hundred hand-edited photographs, each one earning its place.

What's included

  • Full-day coverage — up to ten hours with me, second shooter for larger weddings.

  • Planning call + timeline — a venue walkthrough and a minute-by-minute plan we both sign.

  • Private online gallery — print ordering built in, shareable with family.

  • Heirloom album option — lay-flat fine-art album designed with you, not at you.

The process

First call

A thirty-minute chat about your day, your venue and what matters most in the frame.

Booking

A written quote, a 25% retainer and your date locked in — dates go 8–12 months out.

The day

Calm, invisible coverage plus a short golden-hour escape for the two of you.

Delivery

Sneak peeks in 48 hours, the full gallery in three weeks, album design after.

“Elliot blended into the day so completely our guests thought he was family — then delivered photos that made us cry. Twice.”

— Maya & Tom, married in Hood River
How far in advance should we book?

Eight to twelve months for Saturdays in season, though I keep two short-notice slots each month. If your date is free, a 25% retainer secures it the same week.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes — travel within the Pacific Northwest is included, and I fly anywhere for the cost of two nights' stay. No per-mile surprises; it's all in the written quote.

Can we get the raw files?

I deliver finished, hand-edited photographs rather than raws — the edit is half the craft. Every gallery includes print-resolution JPEGs with full printing rights.
